Lowercase letter n Writing

Today we practiced writing our lowercase letter n's. They were very tricky!!! We will keep practicing at school and they can practice at home too if you can. You don't even need to use a pencil and paper!! You can use chalk outside, shaving cream, sand, anything. :) Below are pictures for you to enjoy of your child's hard work.

Making Acorns!

Today we read a book about how hard it can be for an acorn to become a tree before we decided to make our own acorns to add to our classroom tree. Below are pictures of us working on it. I will send a picture later after the glue dries of what they look like in the tree!

Today's Math

Today for math we reviewed sorting objects then went on to discuss counting to 3 with the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. This time, however was Mrs. King's version which was a little sillier than the normal version. :) We then were given three bears (one small, one medium, and one large) we had to match them to the sized bears on the worksheet. After, we colored the bears on our papers to match the bears we had been given. These papers are coming home today. This was one of the many steps we take to get our friends ready for following directions and completing tasks by themselves.
