Today after a group math lesson, we played with our own pumpkin numbers. First we had to put all of our pumpkin numbers in order from lowest to greatest. Then we had to match the number of dots on our pumpkins to the actual numeral written. Below are pictures of us working!!!
This number sense is what we will be working on all year for our numbers one through ten. It is an end of the year benchmark for all of our 4K kids to be able to match the number to the amount. For example matching four dots on a pumpkin to the number 4 on another pumpkin. I will be sending home this fun pumpkin game on Friday or next week. I will let you know for sure. The kids really enjoyed playing the game!
