We change our number, shape, literacy skills (parts of a book) and color every three weeks. We do however change the letter each week and the bucket filling focus every month. What is shown is what we are focusing on learning to help us meet our end of the year benchmarks. We review and talk about these goals everyday at school. End of the year goals! We can do it!!!!! :)
We want to be in the yellow by the end of the year. Not right away this takes time and patience. :)
The Pre-Emergent, Emergent, and Developing at the top of the table help us see the progression as the year goes on.
IF we meet our goals early, we will continue our learning with writing words/sentences, drawing detailed pictures, adding, and sight words. This can be a student by student basis or as a whole group. If you have questions about this just let me know.
